Jeff places great importance on “putting himself in the shoes” of clients & he only recommends strategies or investments that he would undertake himself. Jeff will filter “market noise” so that clients do not need to worry & can enjoy their financial independence.
He enjoys educating clients so they fully understand the rationale for every decision and he encourages clients to enjoy their lives. Jeff appreciates frankness and honesty from clients, and although clients are treated with great respect, there are times when they are told things they may not wish to hear!
Jeff was an Accountant for 13 years before undertaking a career change into Financial Planning 20 years ago. During that time, he has completed the Diploma in Financial Planning and become a Certified Financial Planner. Jeff is a member of the Financial Planning Association and adheres to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism. Jeff prides himself on quick and thorough responses to questions and he has fought and won several battles on behalf of clients.
The strategic advice Jeff provides adds much value and he allocates significant time to understanding the clients’ goals, objectives and the features of the many investments available to investors. He believes in “keeping it simple” which has often been beneficial when unexpected events occur – his clients have not been trapped in complex or illiquid products favoured by some advisers who “sell product” rather than recommend products as a means to achieve the goals and objectives of clients. Jeff’s business and pricing model ensures that the client’s needs are placed first and he wishes to keep the client base small so that each client receives the attention they deserve.
Jeff enjoys a balanced lifestyle and regularly dines out and sees movies with his wife, Lois. Their 2 cats, Maddi & Bella give them great joy. He is a tragic Richmond fan, a keen golfer, tennis, and snooker player. His love of sports cars and motorbikes involves regular visits to some of Melbourne’s finest roads such as can be found in the Yarra Valley and Dandenongs.
